THIS MORNING WE will be counting out all the money received from my book The Curious Diary of Mr Jam. The book is pretty much sold out, so there should be a worthwhile bit of cash. I'll be handing the lot to Peter Fry of ICM to spend on rice for malnourished children, as promised – see this link here for the original pledge
To me, that'll be the best part of the presentation I am giving at the Hong Kong book fair this morning. Join us if you can. Room S426 from 11 am at the Convention Centre in Wan Chai.
After that, I'll be heading to the Penguin book stand. They've got some fabulous books on Asia, and they're all at irresistible bargain prices this week. The book by my old buddy Paul French is particularly recommended... if you’re in Hong Kong and get away from work, see you there!
