I USED to hate book signings—sitting there in a bookshop praying for someone to walk in.
Luckily, judging by advance orders, my new book is flying off the shelf, so it’s looking good.
Please come and help me celebrate. And give me a chance to say thank you for being so supportive.
“The Curious Diary of Mr Jam” is a record of a year I spent making people laugh in Asia. It gives some great examples of the different sorts of humor that people in this region have – people from hardline Islamic religious police to Beijing communists: I believe everyone loves to laugh.
The book seems to be “happening”, which is great news, because I promised all my income from it to a program which buys lunches for malnourished children.
