THERE REALLY IS a bank of goats, as my regular readers know. The European financial community can learn from it to fix their debt crisis. That’s what I told a reporter this week, anyway, in the video clip above.
I get interviewed quite often, by all sorts of people, and it’s surprisingly easy to take the ideas from one of our discussions on this website and use them in press interviews. I’m thinking of encouraging this a bit more, as it may be a fruitful way of expanding Mr Jam’s community into the video age.
So, I want to use more images (still or moving) from / of readers, so Grandpa and Bianca and Liftie and Jason and Rafan and Paul and Ram everyone else – kindly invest in digital cameras, will you?
Bianca and a few readers via email asked if there were any recordings of my early pop career. Possibly not, although I’ll have a look. I actually did a few pop videos for a TV show in the late 1980s or early90s, which presumably still exist somewhere.
If you’re feeling indulgent, here’s me singing one of the first songs I wrote – it’s many years old and has that 1960s Beatles feel. (Apologies to real musicians: I’m not really a singer, but I like music. One day I’ll put up some How To Have Fun With Music videos.) Don’t feel obliged to listen to it.
And for people who like REAL music, rather than my feeble stuff, here’s a lovely old video of David Bowie. This is one of his earliest TV shows, before he had any make-up, or even an electric guitar.
The clip above says that this is his first TV appearance, but he actually appeared on TV before that as a teenager, campaigning for the right to wear long hair.
